Dog Pile 🐾

3/7/2022

Heyo! Another week here in Woodside Queens!! To update everyone I am staying here for another transfer with my companion Elder Kim but we also picked up another guy this week. So we have been in a trio!!!! His name is Elder Johnson. It has been lots of fun, such a funny guy and he has a nice uplifting Spirit about him. So that has been great this week!!

We had one of the most amazing Spirit felt lessons that I have had on the mission that happened this week. It was with our friend Elias, we were having an in person lesson with him at the church and we went over the Restoration lesson. He was into it and truly had a desire, asking us questions and the Spirit was way strong during that entire lesson. Towards the end of the lesson we invited him to be baptized, he accepted it and is super excited. Then we all kneeled down in the church chapel and prayed about the Book of Mormon, about Joseph Smith, about the Church and Baptism. We sat there in silence after for a little bit and it was amazing how strong the Spirit was and that it touch all the hearts of everyone in that lesson. It was such a great lesson and my companions and I were so hyped so we had a fun dog pile after that lesson hahahhaha it fills you up with joy and excitement when our friends here accepts the Gospel in their lives and see their life change for the better!!

Had some great meals this week and met some cool people with some very amazing accents. All the accents here are pretty awesome, people from all around the world with so many different lifestyles, and backgrounds. We met some way cool Ireland "Lad's"  they were here playing their Irish futball sport and we talked with them for a bit and afterwards they said see ya "Lad's" it was pretty hype. Some super cool people here. Anyways all is going good, hope all is well.
