Korean hotdogs!

New York is growing on me a little bit! I have started to enjoy it more. This last week has been so great. I have been trying some new food, some food is like not my type but others are like amazing!! One of my new favorite food here is the Korean hotdog! Wow it is soooooo good! 

This week we have been trying to find some new friends to teach. Knocking on doors is not really successful in the area I am in so we do lots of walking in parks. It is good I like seeing the outdoors and the parks. We had a super good conversation with this one person in the park he was doing Tai Chi so like some meditation kung fu panda thing haha and he said he would teach us how to do that and then hopefully we will be able to teach him the gospel!! This week we also did an exchange and I was more in the city so that was fun. So many people!! And honking for like no reason haha I rode on the bus and had some interesting conversations with people! So that was fun to experience the city!!

We also had an awesome experience this week! Our friend we have been teaching his name is Sam we got him on date for baptism!! It has been super exciting!!! I am super excited for him! This week has been great!

New York!!

9/20/2021

Wow!! It has been a crazy week! The travel day was super long, waking up super early was so hard. But I made it to New York!!! The first night we stayed at a hotel it was so nice, that was probably the biggest and most comfortable bed I will sleep in during the mission hahaha the next day I got my companion his name is Elder Lund. He is super awesome, love that guy so much! My area is littleneck in queens and some of it goes into the long islands! We are actually driving a car here and that's kinda scary the traffic takes soooooo long so we always have to leave early because it takes forever to get anywhere here.

The things I have found out since I have been in New York is that covid hit here super bad like everyone knows someone they love that died so it is taken super serious here. And the people that live in the long islands are not very nice haha we have already gotten yelled at a couple of times hahaha but there are still some super super nice people. It's so crazy to see all the different religions here like in one neighborhood we went to, everyone believed and another one we went to, had all different religions so that's super crazy.

So far New York has been great! Was a little hard at first little homesick, but it has gotten better!! New York is an awesome place!

District

Last week of MTC

The MTC has been a great experience I have loved it. I am so ready to go but I am totally going to miss my amazing district. I leave on Monday to New York City, so that is exciting I will have to wake up at 3 AM in the morning on Monday and check out of the MTC at like 3:45 AM, so travel day is going to be a long day.

The highlights this week was being able to go to the temple again. Learning lots and gaining a stronger testimony and just balling with the district, volleyball and ping pong. Wow I am going to miss being able to go play some ping pong everyday that has been a blast. The MTC has been the greatest experience.

First week!!

Hey everybody! The first week has been pretty amazing and spiritual. The Provo MTC has been an incredible experience. The Spirit is so strong here and the devotionals are something I always look forward to they are super cool. I enjoy being here at the MTC so much more then online, except not being able to be with my family anymore :(

I also had a wonderful opportunity to go to the Provo temple today. It was super cool being able to go with the whole district the Spirit there is just something else. I love the temple so much!! When I go to the temple I feel so close to the Savior. This has been a first good week at the Provo MTC. Love you all!!
