The Fist Bump... 👊

Hey Everyone!!! Everything is going well, the mission is blessed and treating me good. Something very special happened this past week, so it kinda all starts with just having a good week! And then yesterday was an amazing day with Stake Conference, one of the 70's was able to come to our Stake Conference and talk. It was awesome!! Felt the Spirit super strong. But not just this amazing stake conference happened.... right after that we left to go to the city. Wow it was crazy I miss the city so so much! It was fun once again going on the subway and just being able to have so many people to talk to again! But with this fun adventure we had going to the city we were able to meet up with the whole mission in Manhattan and we were able to listen to Elder Rasband!!!!! It was amazing one of the 12 apostles came to our mission, not to flex at all but I was able to fist bump Elder Rasband so it was overall such an amazing day!

Just being able to be in Manhattan listening to an apostle of the Lord was an experience I will always remember, the Spirit was so strong and made me excited for the upcoming General Conference!! Elder Rasband served his mission when he was a young boy (just like me), he served here in NYC and then as a mission president he served in NYC super cool, and not to flex again but he told us that NYC was the best mission! And it is the BEST mission. Anyways he talked lots about Jesus Christ, and the blessings from missionary work. Super spiritual time! That's what has been going on lately, hope everyone has a wonderful week! Love you all!!

Hey everyone! It's about time I update everyone on how everything is going!! So I have been in my new area of Long Island for 3 weeks now its really been a crazy 3 weeks. At first I had such a hard time, I missed the city and just the very busy missionary life! (Still very busy but there are not people right out our door to talk to on the street.) So it took me some time to adjust and find why I am in this area. After some time I started to enjoy being back in a car and this new area. I wanted to share an experience with you all of one of the many reasons why I think I am in this new area! Truly God's hand is in the work and so many miracles!!!

The beginning of this miracle was at the very beginning of my mission, very first month or so. I was able to teach this lady while on splits with some other Elders. This lady was a mom and all her kids were moved out already so she was the only one that they were teaching, I was able to teach her a couple of times, and got to know her quite a bit. It was a special day when she was baptized. And now back to the present in coming to this area and time in my mission. When I first got to this new area the first week we knocked on this door and it was her son Desmond! It was amazing he was so prepared and ready to hear the gospel in his life. He accepted baptism that week, and there was so much Joy when we called his Mom together, it was so sweet to see her in tears and the happiness that all of us had. He was then just baptized this last week and I am so grateful to be able to be part of this amazing work! I know this is the Lord’s work and it's true!! I know that families can live together forever. So grateful for my own family and the blessings of the gospel!
