Hey Family! This week was a week full of miracles, there was no place I
would rather be then serving God's children here in Brooklyn. This week
we saw lots of success we were able to bring 2 families to church and
had 10 total people come to church this past Sunday. Also we were able
to help Bijoux get baptized!! She is such a funny person, she did not
like any of the pictures of the baptism so they all got deleted haha so
all we have is a picture of the chalk board. So blessed to have a
baptism my last Sunday on my mission!
This
will be my last email, I am going to be coming home this Saturday,
September 2nd. These last 2 years have been the most rewarding 2 years
of my life. I honestly don't know what to say about the mission, words
really can't describe these last 2 years and how grateful I am for my
mission!
There is a talk that I
enjoyed reading and studying throughout my mission it is called "The
Everlasting Covenant." It has helped me learn how important making
Covenants with our Heavenly Father really is. My heart is full of
gratitude for the Covenants that I have made and helped all of my
friends in New York and Connecticut make. It has brought me so much Joy
being able to be a part of God's work on the Earth, gathering scattered
Israel and witnessing miracles everyday. There is a quote in this talk
from the prophet I want to share that sums up my mission.
"The
greatest joy you will ever experience is when you are consumed with
love for God and for all His children. Loving God more than anyone or
anything else is the condition that brings true peace, comfort,
confidence, and joy."
I
want to share my testimony, I have experience the greatest Joy I have
ever had by putting God first, I love that quote and I love God so much!
I know that Jesus is the Christ that he is the Alpha and Omega, the
King of Kings our Savior and Redeemer. I am so grateful to be able to be
a part of the restored church, the Book of Mormon is the word of God.
This is the greatest work in the world, I will always remember these
miracles and experiences I have had. I know this to be true, in the name
of Jesus Christ. Amen.
