Hello everyone! What a wonderful week, to start off I would love to share with you our experience this week with our good friend! Her name is Yolande, she is so sweet and wonderful. She came to New York about 20 years ago from the islands. And she has always wanted to talk with missionaries but never got the chance, she has gone through lots of hardships in her life and we have seen her change, she is so much happier these last few weeks! She started out hardly talking to us and now she can hardly stop!! She is truly amazing one day she said she will teach us the true way to cut open a coconut and drink it haha. After her confirmation she had happy tears and it was so sweet! 

 

We had transfer calls this week and it is so sad to say but I am leaving Manhattan, this has been an area that I have truly grown to love. I am going to miss Manhattan, I am headed to Long Island south shore. So back to a car and bye to the city.... so sad.... sorry this is short but everyone have a great week!

Hey Family and Friends! Hope everyone is doing well, everything is going good here. I mean almost everything is good.... I am like on fire here the heat and the humidity is killing me lol just kidding I am surviving! The mission is just lots of the same work so not much to update! But here is some Miracles from the work recently, we found and talked to these 3 boys that were teenagers. They were such homies, we talked about their high school life and them stressing about their grades. We told them that Jesus Christ, coming to church, and praying can help them in their school work! We set up a time to meet at the church the next night and they came! But they were not the only one's that came, they brought more friends and one of the kids brought his mom! We had a lesson with 7 people!!! It was such an awesome experience!

Alma 7:11-12

11 And he shall go forth, suffering pains and afflictions and temptations of every kind; and this that the word might be fulfilled which saith he will take upon him the pains and the sicknesses of his people.

12 And he will take upon him death, that he may loose the bands of death which bind his people; and he will take upon him their infirmities, that his bowels may be filled with mercy, according to the flesh, that he may know according to the flesh how to succor his people according to their infirmities.

I hope everyone is doing well, I know that Jesus Christ lives! I know that he knows how we feel when we are having our hard times in life. I know he loves each and everyone of us! He loves you! I love you! Have a great week!
