Another week here in New York! It was an awesome week, had some amazing
experiences. First off we had the chance to meet with one of the members
of the seventy Elder John C. Pingree it was awesome to shake his hand
and talk with him for a little bit! He talked lots about writing your
own stories and your own scripture for your own family for the future.
And lots about how God found you, about your own testimony for your
family. And lots of family history. The other thing he talked about was
"What does God want me to do?" Give him your heart!!!! "How can I be
used by him?" There were all these questions and he talked lots about
them and when we are serving others it truly helps us become more like
Him and helps us have more happiness!!! It was an amazing time hearing
what he had to say and his testimony.
Another
cool experience this week was this family at church, I have been trying
to talk to for the past couple of weeks and have never had the
opportunity to. But finally this last week I was able to talk to them,
the wife is a member and just got a Temple recommend. Then everyone so
far has thought that the husband is a member as well but he isn't. And
when I was talking to them getting to know them he was like "it's my
turn now to become a member and meet with you missionaries." It was so
cool and amazing, just reminded me to always ask and invite others. I
don't know what would happen if I didn't talk to them and invite them
but it is always easier when someone else invites you to do something! I
invite all of you to be there for someone, be a friend and ask and
invite to help them!! Share some love!!!
