Ordination as an Elder

Tyson was ordained as an Elder tonight by his Dad, Lorenz Jr in our Home. We had both sets of his grandparents here with us as well as his Bishop, Bishop Hartvigsen and our ward High Counselor Bro. Badger. A special night.

Tyson's news to Kurtis

Tyson told us that Bishop Hartvigsen and his wife was telling him that once in a while, it depends on the Mission President, will let siblings see each other that will be overlapping their missions. So Tyson called Kurtis' mission president and asked if it would be possible for him to go out to Arizona and see his brother and maybe be his companion for a day before he leaves. He had to leave him a message. The next day Tyson got this text back from him.

The next time Kurtis called for P-day, Tyson told Kurtis the exciting news but he didn't believe him at first and was shocked. But boy was he excited and happy! (We did take a video but it wouldn't download here...)

Kalli went with me and the both of us took several pictures of Tyson up at Tunnel Springs Park in his Mission Suit before he left. We had a great time with him!
