Howdie!! Such a busy week. So much has happened but it's so hard to explain all of it in an email so I will try my best. This week started off great I spent a day in the Spanish area with the Zone leaders! It was so much fun!! My Spanish isn't good at all but it was a great time. They have bikes so we rode bikes around for the day and the bike they had for me was actually broken, the chain was not working and the piece to fix it wasn't working so they pushed and pulled me around when we were on the bikes hahah it was a fun free ride around town lol
This
week was a wild one with figuring out everything with our friends. One
of our friends was suppose to be baptized this week! But we had to push
it back a week. His name is Thukten and he is so ready to be baptized,
so excited for him this next week it's going to be awesome!!
A
miracle that we had this week was with our new friend named Mo! We
found him a little bit ago working out at a park doing some pull ups. So
we ended up doing a couple pull ups with him. Had a nice conversation
with him then was able to get his phone number. This little bit of
showing interest and spreading our love towards him was small and
simple! We lost contact with him so that was sad but then he showed up
at church! When he was at church this last Sunday he asked us how he can
join and be baptized. So awesome!! So we are helping him work towards
Baptism now. It's so amazing seeing the Lord’s love for his children and
seeing him touch the lives of everyone. The small and simple things in
life truly bring great things to pass!!!!
Alma 37:6
"Now
ye may suppose that this is foolishness in me; but behold I say unto
you, that by small and simple things are great things brought to pass;
and small means in many instances doth confound the wise."
Everyone
just remember that the small and simple things truly do bring great
things. So always make sure you are doing the small and simple things by
reading scriptures, praying, smiling at someone that day, helping
others, etc. There are many more just remember to do them! Have a great
week!
