Brother from another mother!

4/18/2022

Happy Easter!!!

Hey Everyone!!  Wow wow! So much has happened lately, it's really hard to sum up everything that is going on and happening. I can truly say I am loving the mission, lots of hard work and I am always tired. But I am so happy, the work brings lots of joy it is amazing, lots of fun!!

To update everyone, transfers happened! My companion left and I stayed in the area my new companions name is Elder Chappell. Such a hard worker and overall a stud!! Also my trainer at the very beginning of my mission just got transferred to my district and is serving in the same ward! It's so much fun, glad he is back!!! It's been really great being able to catch up with him.

We have been helping so many people really progress and it's so exciting to see how they truly have a desire to learn more and come closer to our Savior Jesus Christ! One of our friends is such a homie. We found him on the subway a while back and he is so strong and still holding on. He has had many trials happening recently and was suppose to be baptized a couple weeks ago but has to wait a couple months :( It's so sad seeing someone have to wait to get baptized when they truly have a desire to be baptized. I call him "my brother from another mother" this last lesson he brought his identical twin to it so it was a hype lesson so cool!

General Conference couple weeks ago was amazing!! Truly got me so excited to continue to do missionary work. It was a great time to be able to hear everyone speak. Also Easter yesterday was a good time, I truly love our Savior Jesus Christ and super grateful to be so close to Him. I was reading some talks and stuff yesterday and I wanted to share, this is from President Russell M. Nelson he said-

"I want you to know that the Atonement of Jesus Christ is for you! His life’s mission was for you! His sacrificial death was for you! And His Resurrection is for you! Sometimes it can be easy to feel that Jesus Christ did all of this for someone else. But I testify that He did it for you."

"We cannot truly understand all that Jesus Christ did for us. We cannot grasp how great His suffering was and how far-reaching the effects of His sacrifice are."

I love what President Russell M. Nelson says, I am truly grateful for our Savior. I am grateful to be on this mission and be so close to Jesus Christ right now. Make sure you continue to show how much you are thankful to our Savior Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father! Hope everyone had an amazing Easter. 🐣
