Hey everyone! Another week in woodside queens, nothing really new has happened, I am still loving the mission even with the hard and tough days when they come!! This week was just lots of finding on the streets & subway, teaching and did some service. 

I wanted to share a short experience I had. One night when we were subway contacting finding people to teach this one person stuck out to me to go talk to. As I started talking to her she wasn't paying attention and just looking at her phone, pretty much ignoring me. I tried asking her questions, she wasn't interested in coming to church or talking about Jesus. But then as I pulled out the Book of Mormon and explained what it was and testifying, she then looked up at me turned her phone off and put it away. It is rare for people to put their phones away and the Spirit was there even on a packed busy and loud subway. We had a conversation and her attention was there! Was able to get her number and invite her to church!!! It was awesome! The Book of Mormon is powerful and the message that it contains is very true! I love this experience. This week was great. Hope all is well for everyone and Happy Valentine's day!
