Wow wow this week was amazing!! I had the crazy opportunity to meet an NBA player! Frank Jackson! He is a member of the church and was able to share his spiritual 5 year Journey!!! What an absolutely amazing opportunity it was. I was able to eat dinner and hear him speak, and I loved what he talked about. He shared lots about staying close to the Lord and standing in holy places as much as possible by going to church and attending the temple! One question he talked about was, what it's like to be a member of the church and an NBA player. The words he said was, I like being "rare". That's great because we all need to be ourselves and stay "rare". Stand up for who we are and to only care what we look like in the eyes of God!! The Spirit that was there was amazing and he is just an incredible man!!!
I
had another very cool experience on the subway this week with the Book
of Mormon! I went into the subway and sat down between two people and I
was teaching the person to my left about the Book of Mormon and invited
him to church I got his number and found him. At the same time the
person to my right was listening in and was like "hey I want to hear
more about that as well" so I found two people and taught both of them
right there super cool experience! You never know who is listening to
you. Love these amazing opportunities that strengthen my testimony about
The Book of Mormon and the Gospel!!!!!
This
week has truly been great, love being so close to our Savior Jesus
Christ on the streets of NYC! Hope all is going well. Love you all!
